myk13 Posted July 29, 2005 Share Posted July 29, 2005 ok it seems like i can never finish a game anymore...of course this only happens when im having a good game, go figure right! It seems to just randomly freeze, i try control alt delete and nothing ever happens so it causes me to shut down my computer then have to turn it back on. Not sure which specs your looking for but i will post some of them up. Operating System = Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (5.1) System Manufacturer = Gateway System Model = Gateway 7400 Series BIOS = BIOS version NS.00.02 Processor = Mobile AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3200+, MMX,3Dnow, ~ 2.0GHz Memory = 510MB Ram Page File = 230 MB Used, 1013 MB Available Direct X Version = DirectX 9.0c is their any other specs that i should post? myk13 Posted July 29, 2005 Author Share Posted July 29, 2005 could it be possible overheating? i thought i read something about if the fans inside dont keep it cool enough it could freeze up...thought i saw that, maybe not though. it only happens occasionally but starting to happen a lot more now, sometimes i can finish games sometimes i can't.
