Help with Stadium Modding, Oedit problem.

Hey, I've gotten into Stadium modding and I've already hit a roadblock. Using Pirate's Oedit Tutorial I have reached a step that has me puzzled. I have reached:

"Left Click on the 000 on the right of the oedit screen. While comparing the screencaps to the wire mesh stadium find the parts of the stadoium you want to edit.

Click on a view and hit ctrl-f and it fills the screen and use ctrl-w to zoom in and ctrl-q to zoom out. Find the score board find the wall numbers find wall ads and other things move em around. Get a feel for it. Don’t forget to save."

without any problems, however, I don't understand what to do here. I clicked "part 000" so it has a checkmark in the box. I try to zoom in but nothing happens. I'm assuming this is a wire mesh of the stadium (Ameriquest Field by the way) but I don't see anything in the perspective window. I see a small blip in the 3 other windows.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

-CB

This is not off topic, but I'll take you up on that offer of pics. I myself used to live in Bedford, I moved down near San Antonio a year ago last May. If I was still up there, I would be going to Trinity High School. This post however, probably is off topic. haha

select view ---> parts ---> show all parts to view the entire stadium and figure out where you want to edit first.

go down the list of parts until you get to the part you want to edit. Each Part represents a tiny portion of the stadium, and it's usually better to work on one particular part before you move onto the next part.

Also, don't forget to load up the texture

Thanks, that works, but why is the stadium backwards? It has the Right Field Home Run porch on the left side.

I fixed the reverse problem, but now i cant get the .o file back into .orl and .ord files

open up notepad and paste this

pause

o2ord mstadium.o mstadium.ord mstadium.orl

pause

save it as o2ord.bat

place o2ord.bat file in the same folder as your .orl and .ord files, along with o2ord.exe from Ordtools.

When you double click the o2ord.bat file, it will convert the .o file into .ord and .orl files

Got this from pirate's faq

Still nothing, under the console window, it just keeps repeating itself when I press a key.

:hmph:

thta happened to me i realised i had the ord tools in a diffrent folder so i just copied and pasted and it worked but now im having a new problem with

Insert into the jacoday.big by making another bat file.

ECHO Jacobs field mstadium insertion

pause

gfxpak -p data/stadium/jacoday.big mstadium.orl

gfxpak -p data/stadium/jacoday.big mstadium.ord

pause

Save as stadiumname.bat save it in the main MVPBaseball 2004 folder.

i follow it but it always says fatal error
