mrmariner Posted July 30, 2005 Share Posted July 30, 2005 Be patient at the plate, the pitchers throw a lot of balls off the plate. don't swing at every pitch. Do some reading on this site and you will become a better hitter. My advice is to take the first pitch and see what the pitcher is trying to do. Also, do some reading on this site about datafile's. A good datafile makes all the difference. there are a lot to choose from, try some. I recommend Jim825's. There is nothing more annoying than a second baseman running 1/2 mile to catch a blooper.
