Lag Trouble

Hi all, I've had this game for a couple of months and never had any trouble with running it until a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sure what has happened but now after a couple of innings the game start to get real choppy to the point of unplayable.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game a couple of times and I've used all the patches but still no luck. I've got a 64 meg video card, over a gig of ram and 3 ghz processor so I know my system req's aren't the problem.

Again, the game ran fine for a couple of months and now all of sudden I have lag trouble. I don't of anything that happend to cause this problem so I'm pretty stuck. Anyone have any ideas?

Have you possibly maybe installed Norton or another virus software? I know when I used to play it on my PC, if I had Norton running, it slowed the game terribly. I ended up un-installing Norton though just because IMO it sucks, and the game runs fine.

No I don't have anything like that running.

Maybe try disk cleanup ... you may have some files that are clogging up your system. If that doesn't work, try a Spyware remover such as AdAware Personal .. its free and should clean your system of any spyware. Other than that the only thing I could think of is get a better video card. :wall:

I defragged my pc and I know my video card is ok because everything worked fine before. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have anything to do with hardware stuff, somehow it is a software problem.
