mkvick8
The trade AI in this game makes very little sense to me at times. Sometimes it seems impossible to get young players but then other times the computer makes really bad trades. An example of this is how I was able to steal LF M. Cabbera from Florida. I was the Toronto Blue Jays and I traded for Willy Mo Pena. After the trade I changed his position for RF to LF. This made Willy Mo go way up overall. This is because he is weak in the field and in left field defense is not as important. I then added SP Josh Towers in and was able to get Cabbera. So the trade was: OF W. Pena and SP J. Towers for OF M. Cabbera It kinda feels like I am cheating the comp.
cybernetic
Pena is a good play.. Towers is a mediocre pitcher.. that's actually not a bad deal medocre pitcher + good offensive OF for a really good OF/3B guy
cb
I wonder if there is a way to modify the AI. :chin:
anitka978
I don't think thats a great deal, in real life the Marlins would never take that.
UncleMo
They would if Pena was MLB ready with a year or two experience. I don't think the PC got cheated. Since you made Pena lf, trades are made and players are at times expected to play a specific position.
