Radio Shack Adapator, PS2 Controller Problem

After my Logitech Dual Action Gamepad went on the fritz I broke down and bought the Radio Shack PSX To USB adapter and a Sony Dual Shock 2 controller to play the game on.

Diligently searching through the various posts of the proper .cfg files and reg edits I thought I had everything covered. The game recognizes the controller and everything seems to be working great...except:

Whenever the ball is hit my fielders are constantly jumping or diving toward the ball. For whatever reason something is screwy with the right analogs configuration (or whatever it's configured to the decide I always need to be leaping or diving). When I take the analog off I can run just fine. Also, when the fielder finally does get the ball, the left analog stick works well in running around with my guy. I'm hoping someone might help bring to light my problem here. My controller .cfg file looks like this:

I also have the controller named Dual USB Feedback Joypad in the reg edit registry.

Any light you guys can shed on what I've done wrong would be appreciated.

I guess I'm not sure then how to calibrate the right analog stick (forgive me if that reveals just how ignorant I am on these things). I've gone to my controllers/properties and the right analog stick only shows up on the two red bars for the z axis (Does this make any sense).

I'm hoping someone can tell me how to properly calibrate it.

Ok,

So on the calibration testing at one point it says "Move the Z axis all the way up and down" and then later it says "Move the Z ROTATION all the way up and down".

What's the difference here?

I'm not sure, I'm not familiar with the PS adapters. I'm sure someone else can help. If all else fails, a little trial and error on your part will probably do the trick.

Good Luck!

Shoot, I just did this with my Logitech a couple weeks ago (of course, I'm trashing it now that it's acting up again).

I think one of them is left and right and the other is up and down (on the right analog stick). You may need to experiment with it until it is the way you want it (you can always revert to the default calibration if it doesn't turn out right and then try again).
