APR
Lual and I have a query here, is there a way to take a roster set, say BBF9 V.9 and convert it totally to an excel file? The reason why I am asking is we are having a fantasy draft for our league, and we think this would be the best way to do it. Letting everyone have an excel file with every player, then they can cross off who has and hasnt been taken. Thanks!

If you make a copy of one of the roster .dat files (e.g. bstats.dat) and then change the file extension to .csv, which stands for Comma Separated Values, you will have a file that you can read into Excel. You can then open up the file, remove any columns you don't want, sort the data, etc. I did this when I was working on the portraits for Total Classics as a way to find out whether there were any duplicate portrait ID's in use (by copying attrib.dat to attrib.csv and sorting the file based on portrait ID). APR
How do I change the file extension? Do I open it in notepad then re-save it?
Totte
How do I change the file extension? Do I open it in notepad then re-save it? Right-click the file and hit rename (F2). Name the file and finish it off with .csv instead of .dat
APR
Nevermind, figured it out. Another question though. How can I take a .SAV file and open it up in MVPEdit, thus allowing myself to extract it to the database folder and finally allowing myself to open the roster in excel. What happened is, I edited my roster for this league I'm in and need to be able to open the roster in MVPEdit.
