1- How come the stadiums ending in .rar are not usable? I install into the proper folder, they do not work, nor match up in .big

2- How can I install catching gear, shoes into game and where can I find name brand shoes.....

3- Are any of the MVP 2004 Mods good for use in 2005?

Thanks,

John

1 - a *.rar is basically a zip file. You need to extract it and then put the *.big files that are in that into your data/stadium folder.

2 - Just install uniform packs. I reccomend Kccitystar's Total MLB pack.

3 - Stadiums - NO. Faces - not sure. Bats/gloves - yes. Uniforms - not sure.

One more for the road

How do you use loclook and what is its purpose.

For asking these silly questions I will promise to make a mod for this site.

Uniforms are fine from 04. Faces are no good.

Loclook is very simple. Just open it & link it to either of the .loc files located in your data folder. You will see things in the file. You can edit anything from the file to name it what you like. For instance, you can name the Boston Red Sox to be the Loozer Red Sox. Just click on the words Boston Red Sox & then in the line below it will say that. Erase it from there & type in Loozer Red Sox & click change then save it. That's it.

That's not exactly correct. MVP 2004 faces will work if you select "Yes" for the "04 Face" field in MVPEdit (on the "Appearance" tab).

What do you mean link it?

I am getting a component error, tx bro

I don't know what you mean by a component error... but when you click on loclook.exe it opens a box called LOC Look.

On the top there is a button that says "..." (without the quotes). You click on that & then navigate to the .loc file you wish to edit. (in the data folder)

Hmmm... cool... I did not know that. Are you positive? I mean have you tried it yourself & it worked?
