jtpyp
I have just completed a season in dynasty mode and have entered the offseason. Everything is fine until the end of free agent signing when the task bar comes up saying "auto finishing free agent signing" then there is a window that pops up as says that "the memory is unable to be read" and that MVP Baseball 2005 needs to close. Ive done it twice and its rather annoying as it takes like 20 minutes to finish all my FA signing and draft etc. any suggestions, or should i just reinstall the game note - i have patch 3 i believe and am not using any CD cracks or mods, aside from a general roster update from the beginning of the season
carter
You know, the same thing happened to me. I still haven't found a solution to the problem. Sorry.
MarkB
I'd be tempted to try a new stick of RAM or run a memory test. Given the way that EA code, I wouldn't be surprised if it was referring to the hard disk "memory", so a defrag shouldn't hurt either.

jtpyp
thanks ill try that tonight. I've basically tried everything with this problem. uninstalling, reinstalling, no patch, updated patch. Its basically one thing in my dynasty trying to reference memory at 0x00000000 that cant be read. I've also defragged, and cleaned up my registry. I also simmed through a season to see if it was specific to my dynasty or the entire game. This time it DID work, so the problem is obviously with the dynasty file itself. The only thing I can think is that the problem is with the rosters I started the dynasty with. Is there any way to save this dynasty, if not continuing it, but saving the rosters I have at the end of the entire season and just starting a new dynasty with those rosters?
