Is there still the 3rd party controller problem?

Last year's MVP had a flaw in which all gamepads that were not recognizable by the game had mixed up buttons. This would prove to be very costly when pitching. I had a PS2 controller with the radio shack conversion and it took ages to get it right.

I'd really like to know if I'll run into this problem again in MVP 2005,
