TheRobotDevil
how do you move in the batters box on the pc version? I've found that using my left shoulder button and (left) analogue stick, the batter moves left and right. Start an exhibition game and sample which button it is on yours along with the stick. Very useful on one of the camera angles where Sammy Sosa :hail: blocks the view of the pitcher.
big shmooz
I use a Saitek p2500 & in my case I hold down the 5 button & move my left analog stick. I assume that the left analog is common to everybody, but what button you hold down while moving the left analog may depend on how you configured your particular controller. If not it will depend at least on what controller you are using. The main thing is, hold down different buttons when you are in the batters box & move the left stick & see which combination moves your batter. UncleMo
I've found that reading the manual helps as well. Not to be mean, but come on. Welcome to the site.
Hollywood
I believe the manual gives directions for one type of controller. Last I checked Mo there were more than one on the market.
big shmooz
Yeah.. EA's manuals are awful. Not just in their baseball games. They even have incorrect information in them. I have NHL 2005 (awful game especially when playing it online) & it says that it supports the Microsoft Sidewinder. It even lists what buttons need to be pressed SPECIFICALLY on the Sidewinder to change lines. However I can't manually change lines while playing the game, so I call EA & ask them what's up with that. EA says the game does not support this in a digital only controller (which the sidewinder is). I say to them, "but the manual says it is supported & even lists exactly how to do it specifically with the Sidewinder". EA's response was "sorrrrrry". What the heck does that mean? They are sorry??? It just goes to show you about EA's manual's.
