iansimcox
...it doesn't hide it. I even tried pitching out of the zone and it kept belting the ball back past me. Kinda lost motivation when my right fielder let a 2-out fly ball straight by him to give up the 2nd and 3rd of those 6th inns runs. And in case you were wondering, the fourth error gave up the 5th run :wall:

lautrec
Normally, what I find, when the computer is trying to "beat" you, is this: It's usually in the 8th or 9th inning, and you are holding a 1,2 or 3 run lead. It seems no matter how well your closer performs, the computer hits some amazing pitches. And, it's like all my infielders become the tin man in need of some oil. They just can't seem to get to those grounders 2 feet away from them, can't get the glove on them, even though they've fielded crazy diving stops etc. earlier in the game. I guess they're just tired :hmph: And, if you ever have to pitch against Pudge Rodriguez with the winning or tying run on base, you'd better walk him if you have an open base. It's a guarnateed hit, no matter how you pitch him. You can pitch as far outside as you want, he'll hit a liner to opposite field. You can try to hit with a pitch, he'll drive one over the wall. Doesn't matter what you do, he'll get a hit in that situation. Yoou MUST Intentinally walk him.
Shef87
I think everyone has their own player or team that just always beats them no matter what. I remember when I was doing a Dynasty with the Yankees, I used to hate facing Boston. Not because of Manny or Ortiz, but that Friese guy (Kevin Millar) He used to hit everything and it pissed me off. And now I'm doing a Dynasty with the Giants and the Padres **** me off. Woody Williams just struck me out 17 times in a game.

AstroEric
I always know when the announcer says, "Whu-hu-hut an at bat!" that it's going to either end in a homer or a K. Unfortunately for me, I'm always the pitcher, and it's usually the former. --Eric
HardcoreLegend
If there is a runner on third with less than two outs, 85% of the time a deep fly ball is hit. And it just so happens that this time, the catcher will NEVER get the tag down in time.
TROR
For me it's just a team that seems to get the best of me, in my Owner mode it's The Angels. That relief stuff only happens when I'm close to pitching a perfect game/ no hitter. I've blown only 2 saves in 23 chances so far. (won both in extras) I have just pitched 8 and 8 2/3 innings of perfection against Tampa only to have it broken up by a bloop single and a close play at first. :wall:
