Need For Speed: Filthy's Oakland A's Dynasty

Filthy57

Recommended Posts

To start off, I'll say that this is probably my last dynasty on this site (for a while at least), and if this one doesn't work out like the others didn't, I'll pretty much quit.

That being said, here are my settings and let's get started...

Difficulty: All-Star

Custom Sliders:

User Pitch Meter Difficulty +25

Pitch Speed +5

CPU Pitcher Fatigue +25

User Pitch Control -25

User Batting Contact +25

User Batting Power +25

User Foul Ball Frequency -10

User OF Speed (Manual) +10

User INF Speed (Manual) +10

User Throw Speed +10

User Throw Accuracy +5

User Baserunning Speed +10

Everything else is default.

The rosters I was using when the dynasty was started was BBF9's rosters v.7, I believe.

The current date in the dynasty is Monday, July 18th, 2005.

Also, I would like to give credit to BBF for the rosters, RichK for MVPSavReader which I will use for this dynasty, and Pirate for his McAfee Coliseum.

Any questions or comments, feel free to post.

Yeah I know. I couldn't believe they would take that but Gonzalez was on the trading block and they really wanted to get rid of him. He also helps with my speed problem (hence the name of the dynasty) a bit.

One more thing:

Budget: $84.1 Million

Payroll: $81.7 Million

Bank: $2.40 Million

Manager Rating: B

I want to get rid of Scott Hatteberg and his $1.3M contract, but nobody will take the contract on.

Huge Trade!

Last Thursday, New York traded (LF) Hideki Matsui, © Jorge Posada, and (2B) Robinson Cano to Detroit for (RF) Magglio Ordonez, (SP) Paul Abbott, and (1B) Carlos Pena.

can you stop using the yellow/gold font? it's really hard to see, on the grey background.

All fixed. I changed the text color for the Pirates from yellow to black, and for the Tigers from orange to dark blue.

Filthy, might I suggest that when you do your SAV Reader pages for the internet - change the output from Local to Server as seen here:

a18oi.png

Your player pages will look like this: http://webpages.charter.net/spivey11/Playe...ban_Yhency.html

Instead of: http://www.geocities.com/eb13108@sbcglobal...ban_Yhency.html

font wise, that is.

Update: I've simulated both of the other 2 games of the 3 game series versus Anaheim because the game was crashing back to the desktop. After the Anaheim series is a 4-game series versus Texas.

  • 3 weeks later...

In case anyone was wondering, this dynasty is on temporary hiatus, due to the start of school and football, plus all of my free time is spent playing Madden 06 rather than MVP right now. The good news is I haven't forgotten about this dynasty, and it will be back as soon as I get back into it.
