I am looking at a picture of Blanton & I believe his mouth does not actually droop so much at the edges as the way you have him. Am I mistaken in this? Other than that & the nose a "teeny" bit it's really good. I actually think you got the essence of the nose but it just needs a little polishing up. I think you did a very good job on this & with just a bit more work on those two areas it would look great. bill Posted August 10, 2005 Author Share Posted August 10, 2005 Thanks for the feedback. Im working on version 2, however im running into a wall with this nostril. Anyone got a clue? I cant get that one nostril to color in black. I will take a look at the mouth as well. Look at the shape of the nose on the original and try to make the nose on the Blanton pic look like that. AstroEric Posted August 10, 2005 Share Posted August 10, 2005 One thing that I've found helps me, Bill, in making my crappy little cyberfaces is using the guide tool in Paint Shop Pro -- I don't know if Photoshop has one, but I assume they should -- to establish before I put on the pasted face where exactly everything is. I do boxes around the eyes, a line at the bottom of the nose, and one across the middle of the mouth. Here's an example of the guides being shown on a Jose Vizcaino I'm working on. bill Posted August 11, 2005 Author Share Posted August 11, 2005 Thanks for the help and feedback. I've fixed the nose problem and redid the mouth a little. The reason why it was drooping was due to the photo he sortof had a frown. Anyhow, it's not perfect but i think its better.
