Has Anyone Tried This Yet?

Has anyone tried to move the pitch meter? I would prefer to have it over the catcher and ump's head. This way you don't have to move your eyes over to the batter after every pitch. It would be a little bit more "eye friendly" so to speak. Please let me know if anyone has info on this. Thanks.

Cheers!!!

I know it can be done, altought I don't think it's in the datafile...My meter is right beside the catcher, for just that reason, so you don't have to move your eyes so far when pitching. I think I just scooped the info from one of the many 'cam mod' downloads, but I can't really remember...it was a long time ago.

Where could it be if not in the datafile? I did a search a while back and didnt come up with anything. With the BTP view, its annoying to have the meter above the pitchers head.

You've asked this question at least three times. I think I should warn you that the admins don't take kindly to people who are too lazy to search so you better learn to or else you won't last long.

YES SIR!!!!!!!!!!

Calling me lazy and "assumming" I didn't do a search is idiotic and assine.

I DID do a search before I posted and found NOTHING!!!

I think the other threads were closed.

I did another search and the only line in the datafile that might be related is 0x71b43039. It has a lot about the pitchmeter, position and scale. I am in no way a datafile modder but it also had what seemed to be X and Y axis values.

I am pretty interested in finding a fix for this as well. It seems to be a valid game gripe.

Hey Harley.. (completely irrelavent)

How did you get the "contributor" tag above your avatar? Do you have to submit a certain amount of mods or ???

Thr33niL...

I got the "contributor" avatar because I contributed money to this site using PayPal. It is the best site on the web for MVP Baseball 2005 and ALOT of work goes into this site. I just wanted to show my appreciation by donating for a job well done.

One of your other posts states "Doing a search and trying to this would be waaaaay over my head. So if anyone out there can do this, please let me know. Thanks again. " I'm not going to get dragged into a stupid argument. I was not trying to tell you what to do, I was just trying to help you stay out of trouble. And I have contributed to this site in many ways.

Well thanks for your concern. However through the years I have been on alot of forums and alot of people will post the same question on more than one discussion topic. Some forums don't mind and others do. It's then the Mod will tell you by PM. And yes, I have been PM'ed and I will always respect their wishes, but I'd rather hear it from them.

And I have contributed to this site in many ways.

Your not doing a very good job. :lmao: Try contributing some money. This is what they really need more than anything.

End of story...

Cheers!!!

Well just to post this for anyone who cares..

Pitching meter moved

Guri99 is the author of that download. The pitching meter placement is in the ingame.big and the fes_ingameoverlay.fel file provided must be imported with bigGUI. This particular one moves the meter over the catcher. I actually would rather have the meter over the umpire instead of blocking the strikezone but I personally dont know how to edit the .fel file.

Anyone.. anyone??
