fundusglobus
fundusglobus I originally thought that it would be cool to have a screenname in Latin. I looked it up on the internet and nothing came up for "baseball". So I used a word that ment base, which was "fundus", and a word that meant ball, which was "globus". Later I decided to start up on this language in school. I found out that "fundus" really means farm so I guess my name means farmball. Im just too lazy to change it. SwinginSoriano
My name actually comes from an old YES commercial. In 2002, they said something like "Swingin' Soriano and the Yankees take on blah blah blah" and I felt it was a great nickname. Mainly because Soriano has never seen a pitch he didn't want to swing at. It isn't an extremely flattering nickname but that's where it came from. Too bad it never truly became Soriano's nickname. (Michael Kay once tried to call him "Al-So". :eew: ) Anyway, I should have changed my nickname over a year ago but I never bothered. I guess I am waiting for another player that has as much potential, quirks, and deficiencies as Soriano to come around for the Yankees. You know, a player that NEEDS to be rooted for. Not someone who already kicks *** like Rivera.
Dan
Never was and never will be an AOL person. Never. I use it for my e-mail. I don't like its built-in instant messanger program - AIM is so much better. Wonder why? It's an AOL product. BTW, nice icon system.
Filthy57
Michael Kay once tried to call him "Al-So". :eew: At least that doesn't sound as bad as calling Manny Ramirez "Man-Ram" (which people do).
SwinginSoriano
I call Manny "Man-Ram" because of his "lucky thong", all the hugs, having someone sit on his lap once... So, it has a very negative connontation to me.
mastasports1
Some gangsta name creator from a few years ago when I was screwing around. I hate it, but I don't really want to change it (reputation...) But this is the only website I use it for (besides Yahoo Mail) All others I either use Ekem015 (my old zip code was 01519). Since my name is Mike, I switched it around to EKIM, but that sounded like a name of some internet pornstar "e-kim" so ekem it was. On other sites, like ConsoleSports.net, I am known as Pats1. That's built off the Patriots, and 1 for "won." Of course, we "1" 3 times!

UncleMo
Uncle Mo. Well, it is self explanatory. I'm married. I have no kids. I have tons of nephews and nieces and they're all shades of colors literally. My first "real" nephew came from my older brother, who, made me an uncle before I really thought I'd ever be. I joking said to my brother "Dude, you just made me a freaking uncle. 'Uncle Mo'. That's not good, man. 'Uncle Mo'. I can't be an 'Uncle Mo'. Nice Face to Face. System's name is perfect for his sig, kinda futuristic psycho crazy cool feel. I have been waiting to hear about emeyekayieee or however you spell that and fundusglobus. Those two have had me for a long time. I feel especially dumb since I KNEW Mike's first name. So, everyone, as an aside, spell YOUR first name using Mike's system. Mine: EMOH = Mo Another aside, if you're overweight and need motivation, look up olyrunner on the net and see an extremey fit person. That is motivation to get off yer butt and excercise. I've started running and now have switched to biking with those pics in mind as motivation.-Uncle Mo

sfgiantsflgators
avngres220: for HS graduation my parents got me a brand new car, a 98 dodge avenger es. so a couple weeks after i got it, i made the screen name. i just bought a new car but i don't care enough to change it - reminds me of the younger days. and the number, well it is a dirty sexist number we came up with in HS - a code if you will to talk about a certain thing around the lady folks. but then someone told his girlfriend, who told the whole girl population. so it's not as cool anymore. but it's sentimental. JoeRudi26
Joe Rudi played left field for the A's in the early 70's, and was actually just an average player on a great team. Career numbers (.264/11 hr/51 rbi). But it was his ability to over achieve and rise to the level of the team that made an impression on me. His uniform number was 26. g0df1rst
g0df1rst is actually godfirst but adhering to restrictions. It reminds me to put him first everyday. I lost my brother who lost both his sons all inside of 17 months, and it made me think more about my life. No I didn't find religion. We've always been religious, but it just made me realize that sometimes, I put other things before him and I shouldn't need a reminder, but it's good to always have one when times get hard
