1969 was the year I really got into watching and mostly listening to the Yankees. I had a transitor radio that I listened to the Mets win the World Series against Baltimore in 69. Was on the school bus on my way home. The good old days when the games were on in the afternoon and teachers let us watch the world series in TV. (69 was a tough year for the Yanks.)

jaywil

jay= The first inital of my first name James.

wil= The first three letters of my last name Wilson.

I try to use it as much as I can, I have a few veriations depending what is used on a piticular board I am on. I have used jay_wil, jawil sometimes i put my age 38 on the end or my birth date 6/5/68.

My favorite baseball team is the Braves, growing up in Collinsville, Ok I used to watch the Braves on TBS all the time. This was back '81, been a fan eversince.

Favorite Football Team is the Oakland Raiders, I have been a fan since '73, I can remember watching them on Sunday afternoons in the livingroom of my house and eating our big Sunday dinner after church (usually Fried Chicken and Mashed Potatoes). It's a Great Orginaztion, just wished Al Davis would let his coaches be their own man!

Great to be a part of this great place!

My friends and i were making a joke out of 50 cent and his "G-Unit" so we were playing around with their names. I became D-Unit and it stuck. i don't think i'm a thug or anything though.

i'm from Detroit and ever since Rasheed Wallace came to Detroit in the 2004 trade im pretty sure, this has been the s/n I use for mostly everything...and then he changed his number the year after we won the championship, so I use 36 instead of 30 when he first came
