Playing same dynasty on 2 different computers

I just want to start by saying this is a great site. I've been lurking here for a couple weeks now, and the additions you all have made to the game are great, and your support you lend to the community is outstanding.

That being said, I have my main PC in my "office" upstairs, and an HTPC downstairs connected to the TV. I want to be able to play the same dynasty on both computers. For different games, in the past, I have installed the game on Computer A, mapped a network drive to computer A on Computer B, and then installed the same game to the same directory on Computer A. What I'm worried about, though, is I already have a dynasty established on Computer A, and I'm worried that when I install the game the second time on the network drive, it will overwrite my rosters, etc. Any thoughts?

Thanks.

The rosters in your dynasty are stored in the dynasty file itself, which is contained in your My DocumentsMVP Baseball 2005 folder.

So, in order to share a dynasty, I would somehow have to point Computer B to the dynasty file on Computer AMy Documents....

I've installed some mods (about 4 stadiums, Cardinals portrait pack, Schmooz' rosters), any thoughts on how they might be affected?

What would I do if stadiums, rosters, etc are all replaced upon install? Could I just reinstall the mods and everything would go back to normal?

Mods such as uniforms and stadiums and portrait packs, would only be effective on the computer on which they were installed. The rosters/season saves can be ported between the two by 'pointing computer B to the saves in My Documents on computer A'.

I don't see how that could be? How could a mod only work on one computer and not the other, if they are both looking for the same .big files? Maybe you don't understand what I'm saying:

The game is only on one hard drive. The other computer runs it over the network, off of the same hard drive. So, if I mod a stadium, that mod would be effective on both computers, since they are looking in the same place for the files, right?

Sorry, I did misunderstand you. I thought you were installing it on two computers and just accessing the season saves over the network...

You are right the mods will show up on both, and you should be able to access the same Dynasty (or Owner) saves from both.
