bam124
I am almost at the allstar break in my Braves dynasty, and i added the cyberfaces for Langerhauns and Francouer, but they dont show up in my dynasty. How can I install them so that they will show up in my dynasty. I am playing every game, and I dont want to have to start over. Any help would be really appreciated. :help:
big shmooz
I think there may be a workaround, but what it may entail is, that you have to change the cyberface numbers of those two players to numbers that are already used by the game at the time you started your dynasty. Of course this will cause you to lose the players whose numbers you replaced. Then you will have to assign generic numbers to the 2 players you replaced. I am not even sure if this will work, but it may. If this does not work, you're up the creek as they say. Your only other choice if you want these players cyberfaces to show up is, to start over. JuUaAn
Well, I'm gonna resurrect this old thread here. I hope someone actually reads this. This is the thread I came up with when I searched for topics on how to change cyberfaces in a dynasty. Anyways, here are several questions that I have: 1. How come changes to a cyberface don't apply to a dynasty? Don't they use the same models.big file? Cyberface changes should reflect in a dynasty if you haven't updated your rosters since beginning your dynasty, no? 2. Say I wanted to install a cyberface and it comes with c500.fsh, .orl, .ord for example. But in my rosters, the player's ID is 43. How can I import this into models.big? I would rename all the files to c043.fsh, .orl, .ord. Would I also have to hex edit the .orl, and .ord files or is renaming just fine? (I ask because you have to hex edit for the NHL games) Thanks. Hopefully someone will read this and reply :p
jogar84
Use Tywiggin's dat importer/exporter tool.
JuUaAn
Thanks for the quick response. I will try to use that tool when I get home. If you may, could you please answer my questions above? Just curious about those things because I prefer to do things manually instead of using tools, unless I know what the tool does. Thanks. :)
xiberger
1. How come changes to a cyberface don't apply to a dynasty? Don't they use the same models.big file? Cyberface changes should reflect in a dynasty if you haven't updated your rosters since beginning your dynasty, no? Nope, that doesn't work. It's a roster issue and it sucks big time. As jogar mentioned, there's this tool by tywiggins which allows dynasty editing. I've never tried it myself, but you might give it a shot. 2. Say I wanted to install a cyberface and it comes with c500.fsh, .orl, .ord for example. But in my rosters, the player's ID is 43. How can I import this into models.big? (I ask because you have to hex edit for the NHL games) No editing necessary. Rename all three files and you're good to go.
JuUaAn
I think I finally understand now after some experimentation. The cyberface numbers in the attrib.dat file stay with the .sav file when you begin with a dynasty. That's why even if you update, you'll never change the numbers from your dynasty without using tywiggins dat exporter/importer. It should work updating cyberfaces though if you don't need to change the player's cyberface number.
