packmanuk
I'm pretty happy with the datafile i'm using apart from a couple of things. 1 - Too many diving catches 2 - I'm not getting enough strikeouts What do I need to change on my datafile to improve these 2 things ? I'm using a modified chuk datafile.
Dead_Monkey_Z
IMO the "too many diving catches" problem is as close to being fixed as it's going to get. I'm using RodData7 with his sliders on All-Star and I've noticed the diving catches are still there but the ball is misplayed more often. Guys with high range and fielding ratings are going to come up with those catches and others like Wes Helms who have the fielding abilities of drunk monkey aren't going to make the play. I really don't have a complaint with them anymore. As for the strike out problem you have, the most importaint thing to do is to mix up your pitch type/location ALOT. Don't always throw strikes and remember, a high tight slider in and a low curveball away with 2 strikes are your pitchers best friends.
