Zelda55
Hey guys, Ever since the new interface that changed the downloads area was created, my Internet Explorer freezes when I click on the file I want to download. Any idea what could be doing this?
MarkB
Please put these types of things in this forum. Does this happen with all files, just ZIP files, just RAR files etc.?

MarkB
Have you tried Mozilla Firefox?
Trues
It seems to work fine here (even with IE). Anyone else having this problem? All I can advise you to do is clear your cookies, login and try again.
Zelda55
well i'd never had a problem with the MVPmods downloads until the new interface, so i don't think it should be necessary (nor do i think it would help) to use a third-party download client such as Mozilla. I can get up to the screen where it tells you the "mirrors," but it's after I click on the download there when it freezes.

I'm not sure what the problem could be. I haven't heard from anyone else regarding this.
five
i don't think it should be necessary (nor do i think it would help) to use a third-party download client such as Mozilla. It's not a 3rd party download client, it's a browser. If you try it and it works with Firefox, you know it's an issue with IE.

Try disabling the firewall the first time you log in & see if that clears your problem.

Trues
it is a known problem with download pro for CPG http://cpgnuke.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=1173...t=download.html Yeah, it's pretty isolated though. I've tried several computers with IE and have not had a problem. I would also suggest that you have the latest version of IE.
