big shmooz
It is located in Game DirectoryDataDatafileDatafile.big Open datafile.big in bigGUI, extract datafile.txt to desktop, edit it, then import it back in with bigGUI, compress it, and rebuild, at it should work fine. No need to do any of this. Once you extract the file, just leave it in the data folder. The game reads it just fine even if you do not put it back in to the datafile.big. big shmooz
Whats the number u have to change and what thats number u insert to get CROWD vol louder? directly above the section you are looking at is a section that describes what each number represents. Simply look there for the one that says "crowd volume%" & look at the number that is next to it. That number is the one you then go into the section you are at & adjust the number next to it. I will post this for you exactly, so you will understand how to do this yourself in the future. As you can see... this is the section you are at.... 0x7c9e6865 127<test>;0 ;1 100;2 0.63;3 250.00;4 0.85;5 0.47;6 1.95;7 110.00;8 80.00;9 140.68;10 12.87;11 110.83;12 1.00.70;13 0.82;14 100;15 3.00;16 12.59;17 10.82;18 250.00;19 0.6;20 150.93;21 1.85;22 0.10;23 11.00;24 11.89;25 13.00;26 13.19;27 22.00;28 0.99;29 0.33;30 0.8;31 0.8;32 0.75;33 1.00;34 1.62;35 0.45;36 1.77;37 1.71;38 1.84;39 1.24;40 1.85;41 2.12;42 1.75;43 0.96;44 2;45 1.26;46 1.25;47 1.2;48 1.23;49 1.21;50 1.23;51 1.28;52 0.60;53 0.97;54 ;55 0.52;56 0.24;57 1.00;58 ;59 0.75;60 1.00;61 0.91;62 0.91;63 0.91;64 1.00;65 1.00;66 0.44;67 0.59;68 0.54;69 1.00;70 0.39;71 0.49;72 1.00;73 0.87;74 0.90;75 0.57;76 0.73;77 0.77;78 0.91;79 0.31;80 ;81 1.00;82 1.00;83 0.65;84 0.83;85 0.98;86 1.00;87 0.46;88 1.00;89 1.00;90 1.00;91 1.00;92 0.90;93 0.31;94 ;95 0.22;96 0.43;97 0.65;98 0.63;99 1.20;100 0.87;101 0.90;102 0.60;103 0.75;104 0.34;105 0.43;106 0.40;107 0.49;108 0.44;109 0.23;110 0.49;111 0.51;112 0.50;113 0.32;114 0.45;115 0.16;116 0.77;117 0.82;118 0.84;119 1.00;120 1.00;121 0.83;122 0.43;123 ;124 0.25;125 0.34;126 1.00; Now directly above it you see this section... 0x9a0b3b52 127 1;110 FE_CheerVol%;92 TimerVol%;44 CheerAfterOh%;39 BooVol%;20 RegCatchVol%;19 BatSwingVol%;85 MissGridVol%;78 RoundFailed%;42 BooAfterOh%;34 CrowdIntroTranVol%;3 PAVolume%;118 BlocksReplaceVol%;114 FE_OhVol%;73 FoulPoleVol%;64 RewardSfxVol%;49 CheerShortAppVol%;41 OhBooVol%;21 RegThrowVol%;14 BackCatchVol%;6 OrganRallyVol%;108 FE_CrwdIntroVol%;71 RandomAmbVol%;60 MetalImpactVol%;43 OhCheer%;106 FE_CrwdHighVol%;105 FE_CrwdLowVol%;100 FE_BuntVol%;98 FE_OrganVol%;93 PMGMusicVol%;89 HicoreVol%;77 FoulBall%;56 ScoreBarAppearVol%;12 BatDittyVol%;9 StadiumSfxVol%;122 TimerFiveSeconds%;120 Highscore%;90 RandompenVol%;79 BMGMusicVol%;54 MiniGameCommonVolume;53 FoulPoleInGameVol%;15 BallWallHitVol%;115 NumbersVol%;94 FEVolume;66 NumbersUpVol%;61 Lawnmower1Vol%;52 HelmetHitVol%;51 FullCountApplsV%;5 BdCastMusicVol%;124 FMGMusicVol%;113 FE_BooVol%;97 FE_UmpVol%;87 CrowdAmbienceVol%;75 PitchCountVol%;70 AmbienceVol%;62 Lawnmower2Vol%;32 CrowdRAMVol%;30 CrowdLowStreamVol%;24 SlideVol%;22 PitchWhooshVol%;7 HRSfxVol%;121 Penalty%;91 TimerFiveVol%;86 CheckpointVol%;76 ZoneVol%;74 FoulWallVol%;65 ChainlinkFenceVol%;63 Lawnmower3Vol%;25 BallBounceVol%;23 BatBuntVol%;13 PitchThrowVol%;126 LawnmowerImpactVol%;125 HRSMusicVolume%;107 FE_CrwdReactVol%;59 WoodImpactVol%;58 BMGVolume;27 BatBreakVol%;18 BallHitVol%;0 Volume;119 Lowscore%;101 FE_BatVol%;95 FeSfxVolume%;84 WrongPitchVol%;48 AppFollowCherV%;35 TensionVol%;103 FE_SlideVol%;102 FE_BackCatchVol%;96 MusicVolume%;83 Blocks2MoveVol%;81 GridHitVol%;57 RoundPassed%;38 AnticipationVol%;29 FeInGameSfxVol%;123 FMGVolume;112 FE_AppFollowCherVol%;104 FE_CrwdRAMVol%;80 PMGVolume;67 NumbersDownVol%;50 ShortAppFollowCherV%;45 OhApplause%;31 CrowdHighStreamVol%;17 CollisionVol%;2 PBPVolume%;1 MasterVolume;109 FE_TensionVol%;99 FE_PAVol%;55 ScoreBarVol%;40 OhVol%;37 CheerVol%;26 BatDropVol%;68 NumbersRedVol%;46 AplsAfterOh%;36 ApplauseVol%;4 ChantVolume%;117 BlocksHitVol%;82 Blocks1MoveVol%;72 BallHitGroundVol%;16 HitByPitchVol%;10 HecklesVol%;116 TimerTickVol%;111 FE_CheerApplsVol%;88 LowscoreIN%;69 TrampolineVol%;47 CheerAppVol%;33 CrowdReactVol%;28 UMPVolume%;11 VendorsVol%;8 PlayerChatVol%; As you can see in this section... there is a number there followed by a description. For instance, the last one on this list is "8 PlayerChatVol%". This means that in order to adjust the PlayerChatVol%, you need to adjust number 8 in the section you are at. So now let us move back down to that section which looks like this. 0x7c9e6865 127<test>;0 ;1 100;2 0.63;3 250.00;4 0.85;5 0.47;6 1.95;7 110.00;8 80.00;. As you can see I highlighted number 8 in red. As you can see, the PlayerChatVol% is set to 80.00. You can then adjust that number to anything you want. Then save your changes & reimport the datfileedit.txt back in to your datafile.txt. Remember, the number PRECEEDING the description is always the number that will correspond to the proper number in the section that you need to adjust. In the section you adjust, the number also always preceeds the actual numbers you need to adjust. Thats it. You're done. As far as the specifics of your question regarding the crowd volume, if you look in the section, you will find there are a few different ones for crowd volume. You need to adjust whichever section of the crowd volume you want to adjust, since they are divided into different areas of the game. For instance, there is a FEcrowd volume. This will adjust the crowd volume, but not in the gameplay. FE stands for "front end". If you want in-game crowd volume adjustment you will have to adjust it in CrowdAmbienceVol% or perhaps a different one. As you can see if you look, there are a few crowd volumes percentages that can be adjusted. As you can see there is also a cheervolume%. Fool around with it, you can always undo anything you don't like.

HarleyRider
This file is litterally thousands of pages long when I open it with ms word. I haven't been able to find the ump file yet. This might be because I've used a few audio mods which may have screwed up my datafile. Can you guys tell me where you found your ump numbers? Yes. The ump numbers to edit are #28 and #97. However #97 is a "FE", front end number. I bumped mine up to 1.00 from the stock value of 0.65 and my #28 to 0.95. I don't know if bumping up #97 did any good. Hope this helps. Cheers!!! big shmooz
Hey Big Shmooz... Are you sure your #8 says "80.00"? Mine says "1.00" and I haven't changed it. Just curious. Cheers!!! I have done alot of editing of the file on my own plus I also started with a datafile.txt that was a previously edited file, so it is very possible that the default is "1.00" & had been lowered at some point either by me or the original editor of my datafile.txt. I actually thought to mention that the numbers one may see from my datafile.txt settings may not match exactly what their datafile.txt says, but I figured that the point was not about the numbers matching but rather the location of the the item that needed adjustment. (which was after all the focus of the entire question) Hence I did not mention that. I apologize for that, sorry.

Yeah I thought it can only go to 1.0. If it can go higher I would be happy so I can have louder chants/boos.

Friedman
Does anyone know if there is a maximum volume? For example, if I want the batter ditty music to be VERY loud, then I use this ;12 BatDittyVol%; to know to edit #12, and I would edit ;12 1.00; to whatever number I want, correct? Or is there a maximum number?
Hollywood
Doin't know the maximum but I have things set at 3.00 and they seem much louder than the rest.
