I think I'm bored of this game.

Any advice? I already tried increasing the difficulty level and that keeps me sorta into the game but I'm pretty bummed. I'm just not enjoying the game anymore.

I have all must have mods installed. I've played 2005-2007, about 40 games each season, so my question becomes this:

Anyone else getting/got bored of this game and what did you do? I'm not feeling like starting all over with a different team will be the answer. I'm just betting that won't solve anything. Thank you. Uncle Mo.

Yea, the game does get boring as most of the current players retired. I basically have to relied on their previous season's stats to determine who to sign during free agency. Plus I wouldn't keep on playing because I don't get paid for playing

I haven't played the game lately, because I uninstalled it for speed purposes. I plan to reinstall it and start a full season dynasty with the Devil Rays.

When I watch baseball, the more I want to play MVP. I rather play MVP than that horrible Madden game and I don't think NCAA06 caught my interest.

are the crowd chants in one of those FIFA games the same as in real life, like I just saw something on TV where they were in Brazil and the stadium there, the stadium that is the largest in the whole world, it was just nuts there. Is FIFA like that? Maybe I should shut up, upgrade my PC, and play BF2.

How can you only play 40 games a season? This is a baseball video game you are supposed to actually play games not sim them.

I think I also read in another thread that you are playing on PRO level because you are not a very good player. I'll see if I can find it

-Um, full time job? Marriage? Excercise? Church? Sleep? I don't know, before I was in college, back in the day, I could play 3 games a day. I HAVE to sim. Or else I'd still be trying to finish just my first year.

I said that, and I also said earlier in this thread that I upped my difficulty level already. Instead of winning 15-0 every time, I'm winning 4-1 every time now, or 2-1, or 2-0.

I find that when a game starts to get boring it's best just to put it down for a few. I balance my time between World of Warcraft and MVP2005 between a job, fiance, school, and other important hobbies.

Another poster said the more they watch baseball, the more they get the urge to play. I'm the exact same way. I don't know if your the type of guy who watches baseball on TV, but it helps. I've found some of the settings and downloads can make this years game pretty realistic as far as pace and strategy go. Now if I could manage to reinstall it, I would really like to play MVP2005.

Jogar84, not sure why you put so much effort into making faces when you personally don't even play them, but thanks for making the faces and giving Shmooz the permission to use them in his uploads. Not sure why you went out of your way but thanks a lot.

I'm not bored with this game at all. I play every game (with the real schedule) and I'm having a tough time keeping up in the division.

67-62

1 game out of first place

I tend to get a little "bored" in the middle of the season, but once October gets here and the playoffs begin, I want to be able to "play along". Especially if my team makes it.
