roster19
How do you change the face number of a player who uses a generic 900 face?
themewin
Use mvpedit. Click on the player, then click on appearance, and finally change the number next to face.
big shmooz
After you do what themewin explained, you then need to export the .mbe file to your rosters. Otherwise your change will not show up ingame.
roster19
First of all, what do I import? Where's this .mde that I'm supposed to open?
robskicks
When you insert the .mbe files where do you extract them to? It will change your default rosters right?
UtleyFan
okay, here's how to use MVPedit: 1)select File->Import->DAT Files 2)navigate to Data/"DATABASE" directory. (DATABASE not DATA) 3)choose a file name and save (this becomes your MBE). 4)When exporting MBE to DAT, go back to DATABASE folder. MVP edit (for possible backup precautions) keeps going to the Data folder instead of Database folder. make sure you do full installation, too
big shmooz
First of all, what do I import? Where's this .mde that I'm supposed to open? If you are using your own rosters you need to make one. You need to use MVPEdit to make the .mbe file. I believe the FAQ in the general section of the forums explains how to use mvpedit.
big shmooz
When you insert the .mbe files where do you extract them to? It will change your default rosters right? You extract it to your database folder. Make sure to DOUBLE click on the database folder when you do the exporting of the .mbe file. Otherwise it will go to your data folder. The way to know it is going to the right place (this works only if you have not previously made a mistake in where you installed it ot) is, that it will ask you if you want to overwrite the previous file. Yes it will overwrite the original rosters. If you want to keep those, you can back them up before doing the above process. To do this, copy & paste all the .dat files located in the database folder to a different location on your hard drive.
big shmooz
MVP edit (for possible backup precautions) keeps going to the Data folder instead of Database folder. Actually I have tricked MVPEdit somehow to go by default for me to the database folder, which I think is cool.
