Tacoman
I downloaded Spitoon's MLB baseball, and it has made a great game better. I was wondering if there is a way to make the ball a tad bit smaller, so that it doesn't look like a grapefruit in the outfielder's glove when they catch it. If this has been answered, I apologize but I did try to search for the answer.
spitoon
There might be an adjustment in the datafile...although, from what I remember changing the numbers in the datafile didn't seem to have any effect in the game...(I was trying to shrink the ball to get more strikeouts )...other than that you'd have to use some 3d editing software to change the wireframe model of the ball. I tried last year but failed ;)
Tacoman
Good enough, spitoon. I'll just be happy with what I've got.

Since the physical ball size is coded by a .bmp. (as you know, since you edited that bitmap)

Using O-Edit, you can change the size of the baseball by extracting initstay.big from initstaz.big. Spitoon, I'm pretty sure you are familiar with this since you edit the bats and such... Extract ball.o from initstay.big and edit using O-edit. I'm not sure if it affects the gameplay because it is just a cosmetic change though... -KC

Editing the ball.o file may work, but I had no success trying that last year.
