xiberger
Good news, everyone! I completed my first mod for MVP 2005. It's called Crowd Changer and, as the name suggests, it updates the fans in all 30 MLB stadiums to wear home team colors (jerseys, caps, t-shirts). Here's a screenshot of what Crowd Changer actually does: Crowd Changer v2.5 is available here. Best wishes from Austria, xiberger

xiberger
Does anybody else besides me hate that guy with the long hair and sunglasses? It's kinda funny because that guy bears a strong resemblance to a good friend of mine. But he hates everything related to sports, so I'm quite surprised to see him in all the stadiums.

mrmariner
This looks like a neat mod, before I download this on my dialup, how is the install? To comment on the above posts about the guy with the long hair and sunglasses for some reason I can not get Unclemo out of my mind. Maybe because Unclemo he has made so many facial hair mods. Call me crazy but I just can't stop laughing. Unclemo I love your mods!!

ming
Stupid question #1: Will it work with stadium mods such as Pirates or Trues?
xiberger
Stupid question #1: Will it work with stadium mods such as Pirates or Trues? Yes, it will. But if you got a stadium that already has team specific crowds, those files will be overwritten.
Emil
I sitting at a friend's house, so I can't download it. But what files/or installer does it contain? Can't wait till I get home!!!!
xiberger
This looks like a neat mod, before I download this on my dialup, how is the install? All you have to do is unzip all the files into your main directory of MVP 2005. Then there is an installer that will automatically update your stadium files using gfxpak. I tried to make this as easy as I could. Hope this helps you...

xiberger
For those interested, I've updated my Crowd Changer project. It now features custom 3D fans as well, and I've also fixed some minor details of the previous version. Crowd Changer v2.0 is now available in the downloads section! xiberger
xiberger
Ok, guys, it seems I've released v2.0 a bit too soon... Today I found a minor bug in my game, and I'm quite sure that my own mod caused this. Whenever there's a replay after a homerun, some textures are missing. So far, I've identified the flashlights and the big screen to show the error message, though there might be other parts as well that I just haven't seen yet. To give you an idea of what I'm talking about, here are two screenshots: I'm currently trying to get rid of this problem, and I deeply apologize if any of you have experienced the same bug. xiberger
Has anyone else experienced these glitches? Because maybe it's just my crappy video card. I still have no idea why that happens...
MOKI
I'm experiencing the same error and I find it funny because when the fans take photos, instead of the flashlight, it shows "missing texture". LOL
Batter-up
I get the same as MOKI strange but still like the mod Xiberger, so take your time. I for one can wait Im sure you'll get it right. Its going to look fine. :p
xiberger
Ok, so it's not just my game. I was afraid of that... :x I'm still trying to figure out what caused this problem. Again, I'm very sorry for releasing a bugged version. Mea culpa, guys!
