krawhitham
I can not recreate the problem xiberger if I give you a new cram32 for orionite.big can you test it out this is going to be painfull to fix BTW, does your installer make a backup copy of the orginal files? I have an idea, and it would require a new install method it will be easy to build just will take a little time for the people that ran 2.0, that is the painfull part. I'm still working on that
xiberger
Hey, krawhitham! I was just about to write you a PM, since I have absolutely no idea what the problem is. what stadiums does this happen in, I have not had a problem yet It seems to affect all 30 MLB stadiums. What video card are you using? what is missing texture in the 1st one? On the big screen, when "homerun" is displayed, the black screen is missing. But "homerun" isn't affected at all. Very weird... xiberger if I give you a new cram32 for orionite.big can you test it out this is going to be painfull to fix BTW, does your installer make a backup copy of the orginal files? Nope, it doesn't backup the original files. Of course you can email me a new cram32.fsh, and then I can test it out. For the last hour, I've tried to find a solution, but all I could find out was that the format of the image files doesn't seem to affect the bug. Thanks for your help, buddy! krawhitham
there is a funamental problem with the gfshmgr program and it does not support MVP's G357 FSH format It is close, but it has some bugs, I've been talking to the guy that wrote it and he did not even know about the G357 format before today I'm tring to bribe him so maybe we will see MVP support soon

xiberger
Guys, I've got some really good news, but also some bad news... First the good ones: Thanks to krawhitham, installing 3D fans doesn't cause the "replay bug" anymore. He not only created dds files that work fine in the game, but also made me a new installer. The latest version (2.1) is now available in the downloads section. Enjoy! However, and this where the bad news come in, all of you who have already installed Crowd Changer v2.0 and have experienced the bug, will have to go back to their pre-mod stadium files. This is because once the files have been messed up, there's no way of restoring the data that was lost. So, either use EA's original files (which can be found on CD #2), or use the downloadable stadiums from this site. I'm deeply sorry for this and I apologize to all of those who have had these problems with my previous version. It won't happen again, I promise. xiberger
Hi, everyone! I noticed some minor things in many 2D crowds ("jumping letters", wrong colors, etc.), so I did a complete update on almost every team to get rid of these irregularities. It's nothing big, but I think it improves the mod in general. The updated version (v2.2) is now ready for download! Enjoy! xiberger
cdn_bacon
Awesome job! Really make the game more realistic.
xiberger
Happy New Year, guys! By going through my files, I discovered a couple of updated 2D crowds that were not included in the previous version of Crowd Changer. So, I decided to release v2.3 of this mod, which will also be the final one. As far as I'm concerned, I'm done modding crowds for a while... 8)

xiberger
Good news everyone... I'm about to release a new version of this mod, but it's only a tiny update. Since the Arizona Diamondbacks have had new (red) uniforms for over a year now, I felt that I should (finally) change the appearance of their fans as well. Sorry it took me so long to realize that, but the Dbacks are still wearing their original colors in my game, which is why I didn't really notice the change. Here are two screenshots of the new Arizona crowd: For those of you who still want to see the fans at Bank One Ballpark/Chase Field wear the classic purple-copper-turquoise combination, I've included those fans in the updated version too. Enjoy!
redsox
Nice job! You know everytime I look at the crowds in the game, the long-haired guy with glasses freaks the hell out of me.
xiberger
The scary thing is, he looks just like a good friend of mine. Every time I see him in the stands I have to laugh because he hates baseball. :-)
redsox
Here's a question for you - can these real images for crowds to be taken out and have cartoon images placed in?
xiberger
Sure, everything's possible. But you would have to create alpha images as well, which would definitely be a lot of work.
TribeFan4Eva
quick question. is it possible this mod could cause lag/choppiness during a game b/c it puts more stress on the cpu during gameplay? or is it just eqivalent to the old crowd with different colors? please give me some insight. I don't have the best specs and don't want to add any choppiness.

xiberger
No, this mod won't cause lagging. All it does it replacing the color schemes of the original crowds.

xiberger
I'm about to release another update of my Crowd Changer mod, as I've decided to add the new look of the Rays. Here's a screenshot of the updated fans: The classic color scheme of the Devil Rays is also included in the new version (2.5). Enjoy!
matrocks12
Why aren't the Cardinal fans red?
xiberger
Four of the eight (2D) fans are colored red. Isn't that enough?
wrigleyville33
Well at busch, its know as the sea of red. So I understand why he would say why the fans weren't majority red.
xiberger
I'm well aware of the red-colored fans at Busch Stadium. However, this mod isn't concerned with a realistic depiction of the fans in the Majors. It's more about creating a unique feeling for every stadium. Basically, I got tired of seeing the same crowd over and over again. So I decided to change that, even though it might not be like that in reality. As I mentioned before, I know that Cardinals fans are predominantely wearing red, but I simply like stefreco's crowd (see picture in my previous post!) better because of the diversity.
