BigDaddyCool
I don't know if this has been addressed yet, if it has I apologize and could someone direct me to the thread where I can find the answer. If not, here's my question... Lately while working on my All-Time Teams roster I have found that when loading a players career stats from the Lahman Database, the program gives me this message as soon as I hit "OK": Run time error '438': Object doesn't support the property or method. Then I hit "OK" on the message and the program crashes. I then have to start it all over again, load the file, find the team, find the player and go back into the stats section. The stats have been loaded and their year-by-year stats are there, but this is getting really annoying. It doesn't seem to matter if I create the player, edit a player or impor a player, same thing still happens. Has this been happening to anyone else? How did you solve it or do I just have to live with it?
BigDaddyCool
I think I may have figured out what's going on on my own... I went back in and started importing Yankee greats for the teams, only this time I didn't edit their portrait first! I got them in and went to the lineups, then I went to the stats. Everything worked when I imported the Lahman stats, it didn't crash. So to keep MVPEdit from crashing you have to edit the portrait after importing career stats.
