For my part of this mega portrait pack mod, I'll have to do the I'm Growing It Out portraits, which I'm dreading unless someone wants to volunteer. If not, I'm getting sick of this. Time consuming is all, even though they're easy, there's just about 12 portraits for each face. If anyone is dumb enough to pitch in, each portait takes about 3 minutes. Please break that down and explain in a better way for people like me born with half a brain. I'm all ears. Are you saying different portraits for those other faces I released for CAP option faces? Like, say, I personally have one dude with eye paint, and another dude with eye glasses, are you saying add that to portraits? Re explain for my brain. Having said that, let me express to you that amrayne has not been AWOL. He's been trying to get his portraits done for his amazing facial hair mods but the time is not there with real life getting in the way -plus this is not an exciting mod. Each portrait takes 3-5 minutes. It is an easy mod, just time consuming. So. Having said that you have some choices people and this is your chance to make the decision. (1) You may have this show up for the portraits for amrayne's hair mods: (2.) or you can have this show up for the portrait for the hair mods: (this is an in game print screen from the Create Player screen) So, to ease amrayne's burden, you may pick from either of those, or (3.)have the portrait that is already installed simply install his awesome facial hair mods. Those are your three options. Pick a choice by simply posting here a number, either 1, 2, or 3. As for me and my portraits, I'll be wrapping it up soon. And if anyone is disappointed let me encourage you by saying that amrayne has some kick butt ideas for a version 2 that will blow some of your minds away. UncleMo Posted September 27, 2005 Share Posted September 27, 2005 This mod is on a hold. My PC may have died on me. I'm not sure if it is the hard drive, power supply, Ram, or my video card. My PC powers up but looks like the monitor wont' work. I can't quote the error mesage I get, but it is the same error message that comes up when the OS won't start up, as if there is something wrong with the MONITOR of all things, even though it ain't the monitor. I'll see about getting some PC repair, and then get going on this. Of course this happened right when I was finished with the mod and ready to begin packaging / testing. I suck. Just make sure it's powerful enough to handle your devices. Also, you will not have to format your hard drive if all the problem is, is the power supply. sneggz Posted October 4, 2005 Share Posted October 4, 2005 why dont you just hook up your hard drive to another computer and see if you can extract those files that you need. then you can upload them from another computer or back them up to a disc and then do a restore to your hard drive? UncleMo Posted October 4, 2005 Share Posted October 4, 2005 Hard drive is taken out as someone was testing to make sure my data was ok and that the OS was cool. Plus I don't know how to do all of that unless I'd be doing that at work, which is not exactly acceptable in the work world. Power Supply should come in today or tomorrow, everything will work out fine. Lord willing! UPDATE: Power Supply has come in the mail and was installed. It isn't the problem. I am going to look into whether it is the Bios or the Video card or something. Could also be the motherboard but I'll know when I know. Sorry. I transferred all of the data off of it onto my new PC when I came to find that I accidentily transferred a virus. I am RIGHT NOW (literally) uploading all of my data to megaupload.com and yousendit.com to store my stuff, I will then reformat my new PC, download my stuff (hopefully no virus will come with the download either...) and then I'll finish this up ASAP. Trust me, I'm not slacking off and I thank you very much for your interest. Hopefully others out there are looking forward to this as much as me.
