Hey,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to get a gamepad to work that isnt supported by MVP 2005.I have a Logitech Wingman Precison usb gamepad.I just cant seem to get use to MVP 2005 with a keyboard, since I already have the game for gamecube as well. The only reason I want to play on PC is because I love these mods you guys make, they are great! Thanks in advance, any help would be great.

I really doubt that you'll get that gamepad to work.

The game requires 'dual-analog' sticks, so your single D-pad won't suffice...

I'd recommend looking around, you can find a decent Dual Analog stick for around $20.

Hope u get it to work, but the only gamepad from Logitech that actually works is Rumblepad 2. Every other pad is worthless.

Technically the Logitech Dual Action contraoller is compatable, but I have had callibration issues with it, specifically with the analog sticks. I would not recommend it.

That's what it looks like, so you know to stay away from it... :spin: ...but who knows, maybe it will work like a dream for someone else.

Does the Rumble Pad have the calibration issue? If not I might consider getting that, esp. for NHL 06 and Madden 06.

Also, I have heard a rumor you can get a PS2 controller to work with it, if you get an adapter. Haven't tried that yet, tho. Does it have to be a Sony PS2 controller, or can I get a Wal-Mart knockoff to work?

Edit: Just got back from Wal-Mart and the Sony PS2 controllers they have are just about the same price as the knockoffs.

In other words, no analog stick calibration problems? Please say yes, cause my Dual Action pad is getting really bad lately. Like, 4 or 5 times a game, when pitching (I use the fading pitch curser) I'll see thecurser move, and I haven't touched anything!

:wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:

I think it may have actually helped me a couple times hitting though, as I have twice had the analog stick pushed to hit the ball to the opposite field, and have hit pulled homers...one with Eckstein :insane:

The Logitech Support site is useless, because all it says to do is to unplugg the controller and then plug it back in. Apparently, they can't be bothered to make a patch for their own product.

yep i used a Dual Action...the analog sticks are very sensitive and wear out in a short time...i say either use a Nyko Air Flo or if u have PS2 get an adapter from radioshack for 10 bucks and use the PS2 controller (I use both, and they work great for 2 player games).
