Hey guys,

I am attempting to use MVPedit. I get this message when I open the program

Component "TABCTL32.OCX" or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.

I want to use this to get updated face packs.

Thanks,

John

when I try to download the ''TABCTL32.OCX'' file, from pressing ''Start'' ,then clicking ''Run'', a message pops up saying:

LoadLibrary(''windowssystem32TABCTL32.OCX'') failed - The specified module could not be found.

What do I do?

Why are you trying to download the file by pressing start then run? Why don't you just go to the link that krawhitham posted above in this thread & follow the instruction on that webpage.

I did, but on the webpage it says go to ''start'', then press ''run''.

I understand you got it to work now so what I am about to explain is basically redundant.

However your mistake was in that you were first supposed to download the file & then put it into your windows/system folder before you typed "start" "run" & then type in regsvr32 windowssystem32TABCTL32.OCX (making sure there is a space after regsvr32 & before the slash).

I am telling you this so that in the future if you need to do this, you will know what to do.
