Why do u modders care about MVP MLB 2006?

I have 2005 for the Xbox so I have a right to cry. I can't edit my stats for 2006. With MVPedit you guys can spend a weekend and switch the ratings and stats to make it 2006. The gameplay is already damn near perfect so voila!

You always hope for something better. Eventhough, MVP 2005 is a great game, there are little things that could be added and/or improved. We can only mod so much. The gameplay itself is beyond our control.

I almost laughed. Almost.

Leave the politics at the door, we come here for that which unites us. PLAY BALL!

PS, make your own and any modder that voted Rep. will forgive you for not voting their way.

This site is getting about 30 new members a day. I would say the interest is still there, but i think the game itself is passing its peak. The time is to say goodbye is nearing.

Ok. it's turkey talk time. What needs to be improved in 2005's gameplay? I played a 162 season ( yes, each game) and found it amazing. You really need to learn how to hit. (on all star anyway) So, other than the crappy commentary, what needs a fixin'?

Call me crazy, but I've always wanted a baseball game that let you see things from the batters perspective when hitting at the plate. A true "hitter's eye".

Look in the download section, some guy change the cameras that you see everything from a batters presprective.

1st person view. It stinks because you can't see good enough to make contact on the ball. Other than that, the novelty of it was well done. Just it wasn't 1st person view from baserunning, only batting.

i dont know about the game passing its time.

im playing the game even more now -- well the tc3 version of it at least. EBBBETS FILED ROCKS!!

Same here. For a while after TC2 came out, I had dual installs (one for Total Classics and one for "regular" MVP Baseball), but I eventually realized that all the "regular" MVP installation was doing was wasting 1 Gig of hard drive space (i.e. I never played it), so I removed it and have only been playing Total Classics.

Like others, I have typically upgraded each year to a new baseball game and not played the previous year's game, but I found that when MVP2005 came out, I still played MVP2004 just so I could get my classic baseball "fix" until Total Classics for MVP2005 was available.

Unless something extraordinary is released next year, I see no reason for me to get another game. For my style of play, I can see myself playing MVP2005 Total Classics for years to come.

you guys like it that much but only play one game exhibitions?

i dont know about the other guys or u mo, but i actually play owner's mode chief and a lot of the guys on team classics play full seasons.

and in the real world mo, i have friends that we match up and set up tournaments against each other and play on a boring tuesday night.

and then there's tc3-direct ip which a bunch of people are down with.

so no -- i dont just play one game exhibitions. it would sort of be wierd if all this work was done so a few guys can play one game xhibitions.
