.LOC files also work on PS2 with harddrive....

datafiles do work on PS2 if you rebuild the iso and play off harddrive. Now I have discovered .loc and .csv files do also, so you can use the mods that change the rookies names and even have the Los Angeles Angels (LAA) on PS2. Im beginning to think the only things that arent possible are graphics, due to the PS2's .ssh files that can't be opened....if only someone could crack those.

the files you replace on the dvd (or dvd image on the HD) has to be byte for byte the same size or the game will lock up at some point.

MVP on the PS2 has a byte size and a LBA table for all files on the disc

Once you build the LBA table, you can replace any file you want, and it still thinks its the same size. That is what I have done and no lockups..If anyone wants to know how to do this, pm me, or if the moderator says I can, I will post how to do it.
