JUST a couple of hours ago I did, SBC park, and that was the ONLY time it happened. EVER. I heard someone experienced it a while back but that was it. I've never heard of ANYONE else saying that they did but I JUST saw it for myself. Needs to happen a little bit more. I bet there is some file for ambience or whatever somewhere that controlls that.

i remember it rained at safeco once, and I think the roof closed. Not sure if I was hallucinating or something, but that's what I saw.

That's exactly what happened to me. I was somewhat creeped out. Not at the prospect of rain falling in a roofed environment, but that EA was too lazy to make sure that wouldn't happen.

haha. lol. nah, you saw what you saw. it happens to me all the time when i play at Safeco at night. It begans to rain around the 2nd, 3rd, then the roof closes. You can see it closing in the lleft hand side of the screen. Pretty kewl.

A little off subject here, but i also love the train noise it makes during the 7th or 8th inning, That sounds so awesome.

I've seen rain at Safeco at least 10 times. I don't think much of it anymore. The roof starts closing. Maybe it was a feature they started to work on in the game, but remember they rushed the release date back a month or something to compete with MLB 2005, maybe they stopped developing it then. As for the rained out games, many of my minor league games are rained out, but I don't think I've seen many MLB games rained out.

The only time I have encountered rain was a minor league game. I was simulating minor league games like I always do and I got a popup informing me that a minor league game was rained out , and that the game would be played as a doubleheader. It was also the first time I saw a doubleheader in any baseball game.

When I used to play High Heat 2003 there would be occasional rain. A screen of the field would pop up and a box would tell you how long the game would be delayed. Sometimes the game would be called. That is also the only baseball game I have ever seen rain in. I have never seen rain in MVP 2004 or 2005.

I saw a few drops of rain in one of the minor league fields during a game. It never really rained hard and eventually stopped altogether. This was when I was playing a minor league game in Florida.

When I would play FPS: Baseball Pro '98 there would be some rain delays, especially in Fenway in September. But no rain outs that I remember.
