olyrunner Posted June 8, 2004 Share Posted June 8, 2004 I noticed while I was waiting for a game to end (on one of those "tip" screens) that it said Spring Training would be played in the minor league ballbarks for that smaller park feel. I was a little disappointed when my Spring Training was played at the MLB ballparks. Was there something wrong with my game or does this happen to everyone? Was there a setting I missed? However you can temporarily rename the minor league parks to whatever home park the game should be played in and then you can play it in that park. The only glitch is sometimes you see a wall instead of the bullpen and sometimes the players in the dugout look like they're half buried in the ground. How you rename the stadium? i went into the /stadium folder and renamed Pro Player to the AA stadium, went into MVP went to load and game crashed, so am playing in the MLB stadiums for now I was expecting Spring Season to be longer i only got like 15 games maybe less. Actually what I did is copy the classic stadiums to a separate directories and rename them to aa01nite.big etc. Then I have a shortcut to the datastadiums directory in the game. Whenever I want to change a stadium I just copy the files to the game stadium directory and over write the ones that are there. It's really easy that way.
