Guest JWClubbie
Hey guys. I was wondering if it is possible to import other play by play files. Like a previous games audio to have a different crew other than keiper and the other guy. Like High Heat or Microsoft Baseball etc..... Just wondering......would be cool
ixcuincle
I highly doubt it. That being said "Krupe and Kipe" are probably the best of all play by play baseball I have heard in any baseball video game, and they aren't even that good. If it was up to me Michael Kay would do MVP Baseball 2005 play by play. See ya!
Jeeper
I've always loved listening to Joe Morgan and Jon Miller on ESPN.
AstroEric
I've always hated listening to Joe "Biggio/Sandberg/Whomever is a good second baseman, I guess, but you know who was good? Me." Morgan. --Eric
Moser316
Bring back the old NBC team of Bob Costas and Bob Uecker (being a lifelong Brewers fan, I'm somewhat biased here)
ixcuincle
Hell yes. I never see Costas do any play by play anymore...he used to do basketball and baseball now the only time I see him is once a month on CostasNow and every week on Inside the NFL. :(
Friedman
I really liked Costas. Nowadays, Morgan and Miller are my favorites.
MmmHuha420
My favorites definitely had to be Harry and Steve Stone doing the Cubbies games on WGN.
Sean O
If it was up to me Michael Kay would do MVP Baseball 2005 play by play. See ya! You. are. kidding. me. I'd rather listen to McCarver and Buck than that 2 bit hack. He's horrendous. Last night he spent literally 5 minutes talking about a guy catching a foul ball. 5 freaking minutes. He's an embarassment. I've never heard him say a single useful thing for the situation.
CCH3900
Jim Hughson and Buck Martinez from TSN and Triple Play!
ixcuincle
Jim Hughson does baseball? I thought he did hockey for the Leafs... Basically anyone except for Joe Castiglione and the current play by play crew is ok for me for MVP 2006 (When I first got MVP 2004 I didn't even know who Duane Kiper was...next time EA might want to get a play by play crew that is known across America , try to find the one that doesnt' belong : Al Michaels and John Madden / Marv Albert and Mike Fratello / Duane Kiper and Mike Krukow)
rolliefingers08
jim hughson has done hockey for the CANUCKS, not the leafs, as well as the NHL series for as long as i can remember.

Friedman
which announcing team does 2K sports use in their game? If you mean MLB 2K5, my personal favorites: Jon Miller and Joe Morgan. (Although Morgan has to stop talking so much about a single play.)
Friedman
If it was up to me Michael Kay would do MVP Baseball 2005 play by play. See ya! Please, no! Don't give any gaming companies any ideas! I can't tell you how often I mute the TV, and put the radio on to hear Sterling, and Waldman. Although with Waldman, Posada can be hitting .250, but having "A good offensive year."

Suzyn Waldman is a horrible PBP announcer, but if you put the Sterling/Kay connection back together, then game on, brothers!
NYYKing
If you mean MLB 2K5, my personal favorites: Jon Miller and Joe Morgan. (Although Morgan has to stop talking so much about a single play.) i doubt Miller and Morgan will be on 2K6 since their ESPN License ran out. Maybe Krukow and Kiper will make their way to 2K6? who knows. I remember All Star Baseball 99 on Nintendo 64 had John Sterling and Michael Kay (although the quality of the PBP sucked since they couldn't possibly fit any large quantity of audio file on the little Nintendo cartridges)
ixcuincle
How about this? Miller and Morgan move to MVP Baseball 2006 and 2k6 picks up Bob Costas?

cybernetic
Basically if you put any play-by-play combo in a game.. their catch phrases will get annoying after a while so I doubt it would matter who you have
Texasrangers13
Anyone would do except for the Seattle PBP guys (Valle is OK, But the other guy is HORRENDOUS). From Last nights Rangers/M's Game on FSN NW... After Beltre made an easy play look hard the announcer goes "Beltre is an incredible fielder having a gold glove season." Good luck with that Adrian (currently with a .971%) Lets Take a look at Chavez and Blalock and Izturis the everyday 3B from the AL West. Izturis .978% Chavez .965% Blalock .977% By no means is Beltre bad, but he's not the Gold Glover of even the AL West.
