Kriegz
9th Wonder & Buckshot - Food For Thought Chemistry is just an amazing album. Mark, you should check it out, you'd really like it.

MarkB
Checked out 9th Wonder...not really for me. Too...I don't know. He just sounded like a broke-*** version of Royce Da 5'9" to me. Track of the day = Ice Cube - Race Card. Video is hot, lyrics are real, well flowing and smooth, yet very sensible. So fresh it's not even on any of the lyrics sites yet. Can't wait for "Laugh Now, Cry Later", his new album. I should really get a few of his albums on the CD changer while I'm updating my names file for MVP. Definatly some hot lyrics on that track, don't love the backrounds but it's a very solid track IMO. seanzarelli
"Crossing the Frame" - Coheed & Cambria Ah, the good ol' hometown boys, Kingston, NY represent! haha. But since you used Coheed, I think I will use these guys... "I Punch You, You Punch Me" by The Blackout Pact You can find them on MySpace www.myspace.com/theblackoutpact And also, Spivey, please tell me you've heard of them before MTV. lol :)
Spivey11
And also, Spivey, please tell me you've heard of them before MTV. lol Do you know how long it's been since I've actually watched MTV? A year probably. But, the way I found out about C&C is by one of my friends. He had been telling me about them for quite some time now, and I finally broke down and bought their latest CD. Should I get the first two CD's?

Should I get the first two CD's? Yes, most definately. Not only do the first two CD's rock, but every song tells a part of a story and each CD is laced together to keep the story going. And I am happy you didn't hear of them because of MTV. I HATE MTV! lol Also you should check out this site: www.cobaltandcalcium.com It has alot about what each song means and everything. The CD's they've released so far are the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th 'parts' of a 5 part series correct? What I really want to get is the books/comics that put into words and pictures what each album is about. seanzarelli
Yeah, I knew about that. The CD's they've released so far are the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th 'parts' of a 5 part series correct? What I really want to get is the books/comics that put into words and pictures what each album is about. That's correct, CO&CA actually started out as the band Shabutie and had a CD out called Penelope, however it's an EP and is pretty hard to find, which was the "beginning" of the story. Then 2nd Stage Turbine Blade, In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3, and then Good Apollo: I'm Burning Star IV. I believe their next CD will come out next year sometime as Claudio, Travis, and Mike all have their own side projects going on right now. Claudio = The Prize Fighter Inferno (Nothing released yet) Travis = Fire Deuce (4 song EP called Children of the Deuce) Mike = Weerd Science (Full length called Friends and Nervous Breakdowns) As far as the comics go, good luck finding the 1st one, I've looked everywhere, and on eBay they are like a million zillion dollars, lol. However, you should be able to find the 2nd one at a Hot Topic if you have one near, and also the Graphic Novel at Hot Topic, once again, if you have one near. But moving on, I have 4 songs of the day, all Coheed related, lol. "The Light & The Glass" - Coheed & Cambria "The Missing McCloud Boys" - The Prize Fighter Inferno "Children of the Deuce" - Fire Deuce "Superfriends" - Weerd Science

Yeah, I knew about the whole background story and everything. I got bored one day and did a little research on them. About the comics, the cheapest one I've found on eBay is like $50, it's outrageous. I'm thinking about going up to Hot Topic to see if they have any of them in stock, also I might hit up the local comic book store...
