umpires are assigned generic face 1 from the create player screen.

go into mvp edit and see if the umpire is allowed to even be changed before seeing about whether someone will fulfil this request. you need to know if it is even allowed, without changing your generic face 1. see if you can assign the umpire a different face in mvp edit.-mo

If it's possible to change it without giving everyone with generic face 1 the umpire face, then yes.

the umpire isnt even in mvpedit, so theres no way of modifying his face.

bill, if you change the generic face number 1 to the cyber face you want created, all basball players with cyberface number 1 get changed to your fav. umpire there. what's his name? chuckles?

Maybe it's not in MVP edit because it wasn't considered important? Perhaps we should ask Mr. R. Glass if he saw anything that could be done in making his program.

If there's a way to change umps, there may be a way to do base coaches too? Though, in thinking about it, it would probably make all base coaches from all teams the same.

Im busy right now but ill try to investigate into it next week. I figured it would have to be using a cyberface somewhere. In the big shmooz update i just downloaded all the umpires are wearing shades so why not change the face? I hope its possible then we can get a real umpire in like that jerk angel hernandez.

you can. read everything above, all you have to do is change generic face one.

the specific file you want changed is g001.fsh, g001.ord, and g001.orl. That's all you need 2 know. Mo.

Yes, making Mr. Glass would know. But that would mean the 4 umps in the game would each have different assigned face. Probably not the case.

I think they abolished AL and NL umpires. They just cycle now as crews.
