MVP, with -40 user control, CPU batting contact at +40 and CPU power at +50, but I do a different sort of Dynasty. I'm only playing as Francisco Rodriguez, and will only come into the 8th, 9th or 10th. It's challenging, since I can't throw anything over the inner half because it'll be pulverized, but it's fun.

Before that, I was hitting and pitching on MVP.

I play as pro. Both human and computer are extremely low scoring. The last games I have played are 5-1 , 2-1 , and other very low scoring games. The problem is when i go rookie I bulldoze the competition and there is such a disparity in hits , for instance I get 23 hits and the computer only gets 3 , but when I play pro I can't hit or score.

Soon after the game came out, Pro Level became to easy for me.

I play on All-Star level with reduced pitch control and in/outfielder speed.

The game results are realistic.

The only problem I have is that the CPU sometimes hits to many homers even if I reduce CPU batting power.

Does anyone know a good datafile/slider mix for realistic CPU vs. CPU results???

I never simulate MLB games. When I don't want to play I let the CPU do the job. Most of the CPU vs. CPU end up with very high scoring an far to many hits even with star pitches on the mount. All pitches have a low pitch count too.

I would be very glad if someone could tell me which datafile and slider settings are suitable for CPU vs. CPU games.

I like All-Star with Jim825's datafile. I used the Big Units sliders as a starting point and made some additional tweaks. I get very good game play results with a lot of tight games. Perfect for my gaming ability.

My Mariners are 26 - 19 with a 2.5 game lead over the Angels.

Team batting avg .270

Team homers 45

Twins lead the centeral at 29 - 16

Red Sox are 30 - 15 with a game lead over the Yanks.

Yanks lead with 59 homers and I think the White Sox are 2nd.

Tampa Bay has the most stolen bases.

Just a note: I just had a Friday rainout in Boston and had to play a double header on Saturday, First time I have had a rainout. Mariners lost both of them!!

I play on Pro with a tweaked datafile and sliders that I've come up with that produces the most realistic results for me.

- team batting ave .261

- team era 4.16

- average 8-10 hits per game

- average 4- 6 runs per game

84-74 with a 4 game lead in the AL West (with 4 games left)

NYY and Boston coming down to the wire in the AL East:

NL West fighting it out as well.

Minnesota and St. Louis have wrapped up their playoff spots, and there are 4 teams still in the hunt in the NL East.

So, I've been satisified with the season results playing on Pro, it seems to suit my gaming abilitlies.
