wikitundra
Hopefully this means there will be PC Baseball next year: "Take Two Takes Over PC Pro Baseball Licenses In the latest salvo in the sports game licensing wars, Take Two Interactive announced a multi-year deal with several pro baseball organizations to be the exclusive publisher of PC pro baseball games starting in 2006. According to a press release issued by Take Two, the publisher has reached agreements with Major League Baseball Properties, the Major League Baseball Players Association, and the Major League Baseball Advanced Media to publish pro baseball games that will have all 30 Major League Baseball clubs as well as players, ballparks and minor league clubs. Take Two will be the sole publisher for any PC games under this agreement, which includes baseball sim, manager and arcade style titles. Take Two also announced that New York Yankees player Derek Jeter will be the official spokesperson for Take Two's baseball titles. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. NYYKing
They better. They have never done a PC sports game, so I don't know how that will turn out.
mrmariner
To be honest I don't plan on buying a new baseball game for a long time. MVP 05 is a great game and this site has all the mods to keep it current. I'm sure there will be more opening day 06 rosters than you can shake a stick at. I read a post that someone already has plans for making the 06 schedule. Who right now, needs a new ball game? I just got this one modded the way I like it and everyday something new comes out. This site ROCKS!!!

Sidewinder
I always wondered if EA could release a 2006 MVP in December and be able to market and sell it through 2006. What are their limitations? I had hoped they would do this and roster mods could take care of the rest in 2006. What would be the legal word on this? Sean O
would a petition work? Petitions have never worked for anything, ever. It is a total waste of time, and the internet's fascination with them has made them even more worthless. Companies don't care if 500 or a thousand people who may not have even ever purchased their product, or may not be unique users, have a thought about what they should do. Plus, EA hasn't announced that they've done anything to MVP 2005, so do you really want them to release a new $30 product in 3 months? That would suck.
