Kccitystar
Congrats! I got a no-hitter, only once. However it was during the playoffs which made it even cooler. I traded for Roy Oswalt in the reg. season, and he shut down the Red Sox offense for a full 9 innings. I don't know how he did it, but he did. -KC
Don
if you give up 2 walks doesnt it ruin the no-hitter?
The Show
It ruins the perfect game.
Bicksta
Grats, zero no no's for me so far in All Star mode.
Jeeper
Yeah I'm more than 6 months into MVP05, and haven't taken a no no past the 7th in a game. I've always played All Star though.
sdoyle7798
I shoulda had one last night with Mulder against SD, but I missed my target with a slider, and it got knocked to center for a single. Forget who got the hit. Only hit the whole game for the Padres. That's in '05 at All Star level. In '04 at Pro level I had one with Woody Williams and one with Matt Morris, both perfect games. I don't count them anymore tho, cause of the setting I was using at the time (default pro sliders, visable 'K' zone, etc). Congrats on your gem. :wtg:
bighurt27
I was playing on all star. I didnt even realize i had a no no til like the 7th when the announcers made mention. Wish i didnt give up them free passes though.
Jeeper
Now that I think back, I had several no hitters/perfect games back in MVP 03 (I never owned 04). But in 03 you could easily strike out 10-15 batters a game, even at the MVP level.
UncleMo
same here but i kept being annoyed that it was never mentioned by the PBP announcers. Just one more reason to love 05.
ixcuincle
a no hitter is good but i'm amazed you were able to walk people. I haven't been able to walk hitters as a pitcher in any baseball game...it's very rare
AstroEric
I traded for Roy Oswalt in the reg. season, and he shut down the Red Sox offense for a full 9 innings. I don't know how he did it, but he did. Because he's the Wizard. same here but i kept being annoyed that it was never mentioned by the PBP announcers. Just one more reason to love 05. I personally get unhappy when they announce the no-hitter going into the 8th. I think it jinxes me everytime. --Eric
sdoyle7798
Because he's the Wizard. Hey :club: ...there is only ONE "Wizard" in baseball, and he is the second guy in my sig... Just teasin ya, Eric. Good luck on the WC.
spitoon
That's great man...I actually 'shared' a no hitter with a buddy a couple of weeks ago. I was visiting and we were playing a game, swapping innings (pitch one half and then hit the other half). One walk and one error spoiled the perfect game. It was a 'no name' CPU generated guy on the Cards.
1hotballa
congrats.... the best I could do was a 1 hitter... giving up the 1 hit in the ninth with 1 out....
saxemachine
I've tossed a bunch playing pro with a variety of pitchers, but only 1 on all-star...Johan Santana shut down...I forget who. Kd 16 or 17 though. Real cool. :wtg:

Morris faces 27 Dodgers, and retires all 27. But it was the perfect game that almost wasn't. The second pic shows a foul ball right at the point it crossed over the wall...YIKES!!! stecropper
I think a perfect game is when 27 batters are faced and 27 batters are retired without anyone reaching base safely. It appears one of the above batters reached on an error then possibly was erased via a doubleplay later. That would be a no hitter but not a perfect game since a batter did reach base safely. No, LA commited the error, not me, so it's a perfect game.
