Help Right a Terrible Wrong

Would some talented Mod'er out there please produce a Mcafee Coliseum mod to erase the horrible Mount Davis football seats in the outfield.??

The original configuration of the stadium (then called the Oakland Coliseum)

had an open centerfield with landscaping and a view.

Making the old park without Mt. Davis is going to be a really harsh task, since you will need to rebuild the entire outfield area. I was considering doing this a while ago, but it seemed like such a difficult task I quickly nixed it. First you have to delete all of Mt. Davis, then try to harvest vertices from it to rebuild the bleachers by hand, which would suck. Then you need to find non-disappearing vertices from somewhere else in Mt. Davis to build all the advertisements behind it, as well as the grass berm beyond the seating.

I wouldn't count on it ever happening, since it's just too difficult.

Yeah, I've had to rebuild entire seating areas for the Coliseum and Milwaukee County Stadium, and nearly lost my mind trying to do Yankee Stadium, so I'm not all that excited to give it another go. I might try Yankee Stadium again since there's an easier way to do it, but Oakland would require way too much harvesting and rebuilding. It'd be a killer. Sorry.

these threads are fun, even though I have to shoot down peoples' hopes, since occasionally I rethink things I've already nixed. Trust me, I've thought of how to recreate virtually every park possible.
