Yankee dynasty

I am doing a yankee dynasty right now. we(i) r 33-25 right now. I will update by series. every series(actually probly 2or 3) i will update what has happend. I will update mostly just on the game since i cant put game pictures on. I will tell mostly about the pitching,fights(i hit people alot :shrug: ),good d plays. and hr's and some statistics.Right now im in my 3rd game in a series against the brewers. the chef(shefield) has been on fire against the brewers. the 1st game he hit one hr and in the 2nd he hit 2. Martinez also hit one in the 2nd game. Giambi hit his 3rd of the year in the 2nd game.

In the 3rd game it was 4-6 in the 8th. we scord 1in the 1st and chef hit a hr in the 5th. they scored in 5different innings. in the 9th martinez got a single then posada did. So giambi is up with a man on 3rd and hes out then womack scores him. jeter k'd

right now shefs got 15hrs(tied for 2nd in league),matsui has 11, a-rod has 10 and jeter has 10.

mike piazza leads the league with 16.

cardinal vs. nyy

game1(1 HITTER): Matt Morris pitched a great game. k. brown did 2. Larry walker hit a hr in the 6th. That was the only score. in the 8th there was a no hitter for morris. morris allowed a hit to tony womack and that was it for hits for me. none for a-rod,jeter,chef,giambi. No body but womack had a hit. the final score was 1-o. Puhols jumped into the crowd and caught it. scott rolen got the last out by diving and somehow catching it :eek: . i have to give him respect for that one. hopefully in game2 when randy johnson plays mark mulder we can get some offence

GAME 2(BETTER OFFENCE.) in todays game Chefield hit another 2 run hr.Following chef was matsui and he hit a hr. Bernie Williams also hit a hr in the 3rd. Walker had a rbi and a hr. Scott Rolen got hurt(sprained wrist 10 days), also jorge posada(pcl strain 12 days). A-rod also knocked in a run on a base hit. Johnson pitched a good game. BOth teams d was solid but no real standout plays, except the fact of pujols getting k'd 3x.

GAME 3(BIG TIME OFFENCE AND GOOD WIN.) The game was a boring no hit game till the 3rd when we got 3 out of the 1st for batters on, then CHEFIELD was up... BAAM! he launches a hr into the upper deck, 4runs. Womack had 2rbi's,jeter1,a-rod1,chef-4,-matsui1,martinez1 and mussina 1. For the cards there was a 2b by molina and king+5runs. the final was 11-5. Mussina pitched a great game with 8inn. 6k's and the win. Mariono got the save. Carpenter had a terrible day pitching only 2.1 innings and allowing 4runs on 4hits(the chefield grandslam.) Derek Jeter said "it felt good winning the last 2 after being shutout in the 1st game."

Pirates game1:(BETER D AND GOOD OFFENCE AGAIN). The offence pulled through again and the defense was great. B. Williams dove at one over his head and caught it and made a great throw to keep Bay from going to 3rd or home. Williams also had a 2run double. A-rod hit a 2run hr. Jack wilson got hurt. Jeromy Burnitz helped score the only run for the pirates in the 1st. CHef did not hit a hr today(o well.) the final 6-1. pavano pitched a great game with a strong 9k 8.1inning performance. Mariono finished the game by strikingout jason bay in the 9th.

TRADE: I just traded Bob Paquette(sp) and(aaa) for Geoff Lopez(cf/aaa) Lopez might become the future leadoff hitter for the yanks and Paquette was 1-4 and 5.?. i think it helped me more than him.
