How can I enable buttons (5) - Pickoff and/or (6) Slider/other pitch on the keyboard for pitching and the same for hitting?

Sorry, not understand you. Why you need pickoff if you at bat? And that you meen slider/other pitch button? Be more specific and we can help you.

When I pitch with the keyboard, I need to know what key to hit/use to select either the 5th pitch option and the 6th (pickoff) option (when a man is on base).

Look at controller.cfg file. His location Documents and Settings...My DocumentsMVP Baseball 2005 folder. Look for string

VPAD_PITCH_5= key sc_end ---- pitch(in this example "end" button)

VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L1= key sc_numpad0 --- pickoff ("0" - button)

When you press pickoff button infilders start moving to bases. To execute throw hold pickoff button and press button assign to bases(4,5,6 by default).

What about for button 6 - how do I emulate that on the keyboard?

1. Nope you not need change config. Simply read it carefully.

2. I don't know how you configurate you keyboard. In my example pickoff was numpad0. Post you controller.cfg and i say you exactly how it's work.

I could not find the controller.cfg file anywhere..............

Press 0 on your num keypad and arrow key to pickoff...(< 3rd , ^ 2nd , > 1st)

Slider key can be configured in options/configure controller. I have set it up as E key but the default is something else.
