Cheesypoofs
Hi guys, I'm thinking about buying a gamepad for MVP 2005, and I've got my eye on 2 specific models. The Logitech Rumblepad 2, and the Saitek p880. I would go for the Logitech Dual Action, but it's almost unianimously considered to be horrible for its' calibration issues. The rumblepad seems to be very popular, and I too prefer the 4 main button layout, as opposed to the 6 button layout of the saitek. My main question is about the Rumblepad. I have a logitech wingman joystick with force feedback, and in games that don't use it, the joystick feels kind of loose compared to my normal Logitech wingman joystick. I was wondering if I disable the vibration in the rumblepad, do the analog joysticks feel any different to a normal non-vibrating gamepad? or is having a rumblepad the best of both worlds in terms of feel with and without the vibration? Thanks for any responses Link to comment https://www.mvpmods.com/forums/topic/15137-question-about-the-rumblepad-2/ Share on other sites
Sidewinder
I have a Logitech RP 2 and a Saitek 2500. I like both but prefer the Rumblepad for sports games due to the 4 button layout. It's the best of both worlds with and without vibration. The vibration works nicely in MVP too. Remember, each stick is also a button too when you press it. spitoon
I have the cordless rumblepad 2 and love it. High praise from someone that is not a logitech fan. I only bought it after returning the cordless Saitek one. Playball335
I too had the "infamous" Rumblepad1, but now I have the Rumblepad 2 and love it. I have not had a single problem with it. It is put together much better than it's predecessor.
