What is up for 2006?

I checked out the graphics for Nba Live and madden on the xbox 360 ( go to ign.com if you haven't seen them yet ) ... now just imagine those graphics with a baseball game!

Man, I would buy the console just for that, but it seems like I'll have to stick to mvp 05 and perhaps the college game.

PC games make less sense now than ever for software co. I mean imagine a ported game from a 360! Minimum requirements: 3.2 gig cpu / $500.00 vid card ect...Pc gaming will really take a hit in general except for strat games and so forth. Besides that, console games sell for more and require far less support after release from the company.

Sad but Oh so true!!

Lets just hope that some company out there has a higher vision for sports games and realizes that trying to simulate reality graphically is not only a challenge but a calling.

Same thing happened to flight sims. The challenge of true virtual reality has been lost by modern software producers.

Really sad.

"i may just need to get a ps3 and a 1080p 60" plasma or something"

I am not sure what you mean by this?

Are you saying that you do not want to be a "slave to technology"?

Are you saying that mediocrity(sp) is acceptable?

Sorry this is a real pet peeve of mine.

Or

Are you saying that consoles can keep up with pc's in terms of processing power and all I really need is a great graphics system to get virtual reality?

Just not sure!!
