Hi all, :demon:

:wall: I am at my wits end... It's 3:30 in the morning and I can't sleep :tired: because this is bothering me. This is actually my boyfriends account.. but I'm trying my hardest to get this to work.. since he wants it so bad to be done. Anyhoo, My boyfriend and I have been trying to import new gloves. Bigbully's to be exact.

Now I have tried everything that I found in his readme file and it didn't work. Also looked in the forums. Didn't work. For some ungodly reason, the nFSHtool isn't being registered.. I can't get the uxxx.fsh file to register that nfshtool is on my computer. I've tried Open with: and then browse.. but when I click and open it... nothing happens.

Then I tried using fshed.. that's a big problem too. I can import everything but the gloves.. I get a "access violation" something or other bs.. :cry:

If anyone could please be a good samaratin and help a sweet girl out... It'd be much appreciated.

Or else I'll go mad! :muffy:

Well, thanks for your help, but my bf found a roster that includes the gloves AND shoes. So I'm a tad dissappointed that I couldn't figure out how to do it. But oh well. :shrug:

I think your problem may be that you need to edit the index.fsh file to reflect the larger .bmps.

For example:

6fgl 0005.BMP

BMP 78 +2 256 128 {0 0 0 0}

ETXT 69 64 16 {0 0 0 0}

EAGL64%20metal%20bin%20attachment%20for%20runtime%20texture%20management%00%00%00%00%00%00

ETXT 70 6fgl%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00

The bolded numbers are the dimensions of the new image, they must match the sizes of the .bmp's exactly.

You'll also need to adjust the size of the z-buffer in this line:

BUFSZ 787904

To be honest, I'm not really sure what the calculation is to determine the correct size of the z-buffer, but I know it will need to be bigger if you use bigger images. In the past I've just doubled the number if the images are 2X bigger...if it still crashes then make it bigger...not very scientific, but it has worked for me.

i've never had to adjust the z-buffer before when using bigger .bmps in the unis. i'll give that a shot. all i did was change the .bmp size in the index. i even changed the compression format to qfs, and that almost worked. from a distance was ok but as soon as it was about to show a player close up it still crashed.
