marinerschas2
i just received a nvidia 6200 agp card 128mb. I installed all the latest drivers and I noticed with all the default settings the game ran rather choppy, so i removed all of the extras (shadows, reflections, scoreboards) and i lowered crowd to low. I am able to run the game smoothly with little choppyness at 800x600x32. I usually wouldnt have a problem, but im running the game just a little above what i did with my old geforce4 mx420 I even went into the video card driver settings and removed AA, AF and turned everything to high performance What are some suggestions to remove the choppyness. My pc specs are this Athlon 64 2800 512mb pc2700 ddr ram gigabyte geforce 6200 128mb (no turbocache) agp wd 80gb 7200rpm hd i even tinkered with 3danalyse, to no real preformance upgrades I have kccitystars unis, no cyberfaces, no stadiums -edit. The studdering usually only happens when the crowd is in close view. I bought the card so i could play the game with crowds, shadows and all the usually disabled things. Spyware free also, plenty of hd space
spitoon
I know this sounds odd, but the only way I've been able to get my Nvidia card to run MVP smoothly is to increase the level of AA and AF...I've got AA at 2XQ and AF at 4X and the game runs pretty smoothly. Sounds counterintuitive, I know, but it has worked for me.
