Sandlot
I'm using the P2500 rumble pad and I'm having no problems railroading the catcher. All you have to do is push the right analog stick upwards (or whatever your config for a head-first slide is) before you come close to home plate. If you are to close, the runner will simply slide, but if you do it earlier, you'll definitely get a collision at the plate. My config for the right stick reads as follows: VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_RIGHT= axis- 3 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_LEFT= axis+ 3 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_UP= axis+ 4 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_DOWN= axis- 4 Where do I go to update the config? I have the P880, btw.
xiberger
There's a file named controller.cfg in your MVP user files folder. Open it with Notepad and make the changes you want.

xiberger
nyyankees213, Here's what this configuration does for me: If I press the right stick - up --> head-first slide - down --> feet-first slide - up and left/right --> head-first slide to left/right side of the base - down and left/right --> feet-first slide to left/right side of the base Perhaps your controller isn't calibrated correctly because this config works fine for me... I think I've checked if it's calibrated. It's when you move the analogs and it shows on the screen moving right? If thats it then it's fine on that, but not in game. :(
Chewy
You need to go into your my documents folder and open your MVP 2005 folder. Inside this folder there should be a controller config file. open this file using notepad. Make the above mentioned changes in this area. My settings for the Left and Right sticks are as follows... VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_RIGHT= axis- 1 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_LEFT= axis+ 1 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_UP= axis+ 2 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_DOWN= axis- 2 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_RIGHT= axis- 4 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_LEFT= axis+ 4 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_UP= axis+ 3 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_DOWN= axis-

Maybe someone with a P880 can help you.
