Custom stadium crash in owner mode

I know some time back there was a lot of people having problems with custom stadiums in the owner mode. It seemed to be crashing everytime you would either view or try to play in the custom stadium. From what I could find in the threads a lot of it happened after the seciond patch from EA. Most people just didn't do the owner mode and switched to dynasties.

My question is did anyone come up with a solution for this crashing problem? Also, are there any other disadvantages to owner mode vs. dynasty mode? I like the aspect of limited spending in the owner mode. I seem to remember others talking about crappy things that happened only in owner mode also. Any feedback would be appreciated.

well, i loved playing in owner mode, and it never crashed on me, it took me about 3 months to get my stadium complete, but everything came out great. i think im in the mood to start a new season there again. the only disadvantage, IMO, is that sometimes u might have to part ways with maybe ur top players to keep up within the budget limit. other than that, it's a great feature. hope u enjoy it.
